Our schools & colleges division have carried out over 40 school & college development, repair & renovation projects - new school classroom blocks, school refurbishments, new school libraries, school kitchens, school toilets, playground equipment including covered playareas utilising tensile fabric technology and "green" minimum whole life cost school classroom buildings with sedum roof, heat exchangers/ground source heat pumps and very high insulation standards. Recent Projects
Charters School, Windsor wished to increase their library
space provision and accommodation for Sixth Form private study. The ability
to expand the footprint of the school is constrained as it is located
in the Green Belt, and it was decided to provide a first floor above
the existing single-storey library building. [more]
This scheme involved the extension to an existing church
building in Dundee to provide a new church including upgrading of the
existing building to improve disabled access and energy efficiency. [more]
The purpose of this project was to provide accommodation for a Children’s Centre within the existing school building. This entailed internal alterations and a single-storey extension to enable the relocation of the schools Staff Room and Admin facilities which occupied the space to be allocated. [more]
Major replacement and repair of the stonework at the High Street Methodist Church, Maidenhead. We specialize in the design, specification and management of alterations, extensions, conversions, refurbishments and improvements to all existing building types. [more]
In line with its eco-friendly policy,
the school wished to obtain a new classroom building which, in addition,
could be used as a teaching resource for the pupils to learn from the
environment and demonstrate that environmental awareness does not compromise
the quality of the experience they have within the environment. [more]
The school wished to provide a new Learning Resource Centre combining library and ICT Suite within the school. They wished to utilise existing unused space of toilets, changing rooms and other dead space that were not being used, to form the new Learning Resource Centre. [more]
